Authentically Connecting: Stories of Us ..Mom Finds Terryville Delivers on Promise of Small Town Life

By Jamie Lynn Wilson I hope your flowers and gardens are making out well despite this August heat. They say, “there’s no place like home” so hopefully your home is a cool retreat for you. Let’s meet this month’s community member – working mom, Courtney Bragg. Four years ago, Courtney and her husband were looking for a smaller town with good school systems. Courtney is now a mother of two young children and has found that Terryville delivers on its promises for small town community life. When asked what are some of the things she likes about Terryville,
Courtney responds, “We like the small town feel and the sense of community.” She goes on to say, “we love Terryville Pizza and Cleveland’s. We love the playground at Lake Winfield.” When asked what she wishes for the future of Terryville she says, “I hope they build more of a parks and recreation department that offers more youth activities.” Isn’t it refreshing to hear that Terryville is attracting young families? It’s good to be a part of it all. Thank you for being a Plymouth community member and for jus being you.
