Keith Golnik is this year’s re-
cipient of the Plymouth Volun-
teer of the Year award.
Keith is very civic minded
and has served this town most
recently as commander of the
American Legion. He’s also been
a member of; the Fire Commis-
sion, Historical Society, Police
Commission, and other town ad
hoc committees.
Golnik was also chairman of
the RTC for three terms. He’s al-
ways willing to help anyone or
group when needed. His name
will be add-
ed to the Vol-
unteer of the
Year plaque
at Plymouth
Town Hall.
This is an
opportunity to
honor a local
citizen for the contributions he/
she has made to our town.
The Republican Town Com-
mittee has sponsored this award
for more than 35 years. Nomi-
nations are made by the citizens
of Plymouth and submitted to
the RTC. The chosen volun-
teer usually has been involved
in many townwide committees,
town projects, clubs and organi-
zations and doesn’t have to be
affiliated with the Republican
Party.
This year we will celebrate
Keith Golnik’s accomplishments
with a picnic at the American Le-
gion on Sunday, Sept. 11 from 3
p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $10
per person.
The public is invited.
