Vito “Van” Vendrella

Vito “Van” Vendrella, 96, of Plymouth, husband of the late Joan (Platt) Vendrella, passed away Monday, June 27, 2022, at home. He was born on October 7, 1925, in Waterbury, son of the late Anthony and Marie (DeNigris) Vendrella. Van proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Prior to his retirement, he was a truck driver for Lumbard Brothers in Waterbury. He was a member of the VFW Oakville, Post 7330. Van is survived by his son Thomas Vendrella of Plymouth; his daughter Nancy Geoffroy and her husband Steven of Wolcott; his 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Besides his wife, It was a big hit. The kids loved it. Songwriting Camp a Big Hit with Kids Van was predeceased by his son Peter Vendrella, and his daughter Carol Raffenallo. Funeral services were entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main Street, Terryville CT. Burial with military honors took
