Over 45 Residents, staff, and guests celebrated our Nation’s Independence Day this past July 3rd. Fun times were enjoyed eating hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, cold refreshments, potato chips, and everyone’s favorite, cold watermelon on the sunny hot summer day! Vinnie Klimas, LNHA, Chairperson of the Housing Authority welcomed Mayor Dave Merchant and our First Lady, Jackie Merchant; along with John Pajeski, Town Council Liaison. Mr. Klimas also introduced other board members, Heidi Caron, RN, Vice Chairperson; Kathy Mackiewicz, Treasurer and Mike Agey, Resident Elected Board Member. Beth Reese, Resident and an excellent singer, sang the National Anthem. Mayor Merchant who served in the US Army was in the company of several other Veterans, residents who served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Vinnie Klimas, Chairperson expressed everyone’s deep appreciation to all of those who have served in our Country’s military forces and have keep our great country free!
The Annual two hour summer picnic was enjoyed by all!
